Temporal-Geospatial Corpus Map

The event layer and historical-state layer are independent. Event pins come from corpus evidence; historical polygons come from preserved source layers. Competing historical sources can overlap instead of being silently merged. Possibility (HEURISTIC) and Bayesian posterior are derived views over the hashchain lattice — not courtroom truth. Historical context year: 1 CE

Drag Year from/to (4000 BCE → present CE) and Month (Off + Jan–Dec) to filter event pins live. Historical context year loads the nearest bundled sheet (1914, 1945, 1994, or 2010) after the basemap paints, and says so when the slider year is not that sheet. Not topography. Pins cite paper time × place × record — never uploader location.

Library membership comes from the record's shelf (Aziel Library), never from who uploaded. Report locations come from the document's own content. Pink and dark green appear only when a record cites an origin; this hub does not extract origins yet. Pins sharing a spot fan out so each one shows. Correspondence rule (AZNEWS-MATCH-1.0): two event pins from different sources, both dated within ±3 years, both located. Black needs ≥3 shared salient tokens, Jaccard ≥0.30 and ≤150 km. White needs ≥2 shared tokens and ≤500 km. White is never promoted to black unless the full black rule passes. The era slider shows pins within ±3 years of its year; undated pins stay out of era mode.
